Our Commitment
Foxjets is committed to providing a safe, healthy, and respectful environment for every athlete. Safe Sport guides how we coach, communicate, supervise, and support our swimmers. We follow all USA Swimming Safe Sport and MAAPP standards.
If your athlete ever feels uncomfortable or unsafe, we want to know. No concern is too small.

You may report a concern at any time. Reports can be anonymous.

How Foxjets Implements Safe Sport
Coach–Athlete Boundaries

No private one-on-one interactions

All communication includes parents

Coaches do not “friend” or follow minor athletes on personal social media
Locker Rooms & Changing Areas

No phones or recording devices

Adults enter only when necessary and announce themselves

Any adult/minor interaction must be brief, observable, and interruptible
Supervision at Practice & Meets

Two-deep leadership whenever possible

Team-affiliated photographers are Safe Sport trained

Coaching occurs in open, visible spaces
Team Travel

Coaches do not share hotel rooms with minor athletes

You may observe practice from designated viewing areas.
Coaches include parents on all athlete communication.

For Athletes
If something feels uncomfortable or unsafe, tell someone.
You can talk to a parent, a coach, or Safe Sport Coordinator Tom Masters.
You can decline physical help during instruction.
Do not privately message adults on the team.
Locker rooms must remain safe and respectful.

Who to Contact at Foxjets
Concerns about a swimmer’s behavior:
Contact the swimmer’s lead coach.
Concerns about an assistant coach:

Concerns about a Board member:
Contact the Board President, or if the concern involves the President, the Board Vice President.
Concerns about a parent or official:
Contact both the Head Coach and the Board President.
How Foxjets Handles Grievances

We gather information from everyone involved.

We review the concern using Foxjets policies, USA Swimming rules, and Safe Sport standards.

We determine appropriate consequences based on the severity and circumstances.

Possible actions include warnings, parent contact, temporary suspension from activities, or loss of privileges.

Cases involving abuse, misconduct, or safety risks are reported to SafeSport, USA Swimming, or law enforcement within 24 hours.

Coaches & Adult Participants: Required annually.

Foxjets holds USA Swimming Safe Sport Club Recognition and is renewing for the upcoming season.
